Alisha Zafar

Alisha Zafar is an Emmy, Webby, and Peabody Award-winning producer with more than a decade of experience working in the entertainment industry. She is a rare Pakistani-Irish hybrid who was raised both Muslim and Catholic in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Alisha attended the Honors College at Temple University and began her career in New York City as an NBCUniversal Page, where she worked at Saturday Night Live, The TODAY Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Alisha went on to lead the digital team at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she spent nearly a decade building an audience of more than 32 million followers through behind-the-scenes content, platform-native storytelling, and digital originals featuring A-list talent. Alisha earned her first Emmy Award in 2026 for producing the online franchise Colbert Before Air, which took home the gold for Outstanding Short Form Comedy, Drama or Variety Series. She spent the last few months traveling across the United States and Europe while exploring what’s next. Her grandfather still insists that it’s never too late to go to med school in the Caribbean and become a doctor.
